Thermo(almost)forming

 For the blue CITGO letters, our team is thermoforming the plastic part. Our goal is to have a part that has high resolution, desirable color, and is the right size to fit into the body. And so the back baes sought to accomplish this feat the last 2 weeks in lab. First, after an unfortunate mistake of a forgotten platform, the thermoforming die was 3D printed on the form2 printer. Then, testing using screen printing and either clear or white plastic, the resolution was tuned using parameters on the thermoforming machine. The following week, we CNC milled die cutters to make sure each letter piece was ready to fit into the body. This week we'll be running the complete thermoform process. Also peak the LEDs!!!!
